Mandy Medina joined BNP Paribas in 2012 as Deputy CIO, Global Equities Commodities Derivatives Americas. Before moving to Mumbai in 2022 as the CIO for BNP Paribas India Solutions, Mandy was the Global Head of Prime Solutions and Financing (PS&F) Technology in London. He successfully led the completion and delivery of the acquisition and integration of DB Prime Brokerage and Equity Execution Platform at BNP Paribas. He was also the COO for PS&F business overseeing Technology and Operations priorities and platform design and delivery.

Mandy’s strengths lie in organizational transformation by leading technology teams build strong collaboration between business, operations and other functions with strong focus on client experience.  

With over 25 years of experience in the financial market technology, business knowledge and management, Mandy is a detail oriented leader with focus in assisting business units scale up while reducing operational risk and ensuring sustainable controls and processes. He has in-depth knowledge of various financial products such as Prime Brokerage, Sec Lending,, Equities to Commodities and Energy (physical and financial) trading and risk management activity. While Mandy was based in New York, he was credited for his internal consulting team who delivered numerous regulatory global programs. He also spearheaded the Lean Six Sigma program on various processes resulting in operational risk reduction, created capacity and increased productivity. He has been a Program Lead on numerous bank integration projects from Front to Back to Finance, defining the target operational models, business and systems integration.

Prior to BNP Paribas, Mandy held various roles in Pre & Post Sales organisation, Product Development, built risk and management trading platform for Energy and Commodities business.

Mandy hails from New York City and enjoys playing basketball and running marathons when time permits. To unwind, he enjoys cooking and barbeques with family and friends.
